Suspension of plugins development

We have taken the difficult decision to suspend development, before further decision and arrangements for our customers.

Bonjour,

Je rencontre un problème lors de l’intégration de votre plugin - Stripe pour VirtueMart 3

Lorsque la case “Conditions Générales d’Utilisation” est cochée, la page est rechargée et les champs d’informations bancaires précédemment remplis sont vidés.

Nous avons reproduit ce problème sur une installation “propre” ne contenant que VirtueMart 3.8.6, Joomla 3.9.22 et le plugin Stripe pour Virtuemart.

Avez-vous déjà rencontré ce phénomène?

Merci d'avoir souscrit à notre plugin Stripe pour VirtueMart.
Je suis désolé du délai anormalement long pour vous répondre. J'ai beaucoup de travail en ce moment, et je m'en réjouis !

J'ai effectivement déjà rencontré ce cas. Cela vient de la configuration de VirtueMart, je ne sais plus exactement quels ensemble de réglages, et ce n'est pas spécifique à notre plugin. Cela devrait se produire pour d'autres plugins.

Vous pouvez tester avec le plugin Paypal Payment Pro ou Authorize.net, qui affichent un formulaire de saisie carte bancaire similaire.
(NB: ce n'est pas la méthode Paypal avec redirection vers paypal.com. Il n'y a pas besoin pour tester de clés et réglages de l'API Paypal et sandbox pour le moment)

Merci de revenir vers moi si cela ne se reproduit pas avec Paypal Payment Pro ou Authorize.net.

Bonjour Hervé,

Le problème est plus ou moins résolu, du moins j'ai trouvé une solution de contournement:

J'ai selectionné "Aucun(e)" à l'option "Activer la sélection automatique du paiement" dans
Virtuemart --> Configuration --> Commande.
Les champs n'étaient alors plus vidés lors de l'acceptation des Conditions Générales de Ventes.

Cette solution est imparfaite mais me convient.

Cette solution ne marchait pas en toutes circonstances,

Pour vraiment résoudre ce problème j'ai du faire un hack du controller .

J'ai remplacé dans com_virtuemart\controller\cart.php:

public function updateCartNoMethods($html=true,$force = null){
return $this->updatecart($html, $force, false);
}
par
public function updateCartNoMethods($html=true,$force = null){
return $this->updatecart();
}

Bonjour,

C'est en effet un problème. Et je le rencontre aussi sur la version en cours de développement. Je vais donc regarder de plus près, pour le résoudre si possible rapidement.

Il est intéressant de noter que certains réglages, comme la sélection automatique de méthode de paiement que vous avez testé, peuvent modifier ce comportement. Il est donc possible que cela soit aussi le cas avec d'autres plugins de VirtueMart. Je teste plus en avant, et rapporte sur le forum VM si besoin, afin d'avoir une solution d'ensemble.

Merci encore pour avoir remonter le problème, et j'espère revenir vers vous rapidement avec une solution.

Je vous confirme que cela arrive avec les plugin par défaut de VirtueMart. Investigation et rapport sur le forum VM en cours

Functionality

Once you go through the documentation and try out the settings (and don't forget to test it with a "test item", it works like a dream.

Ease of use

Very easy to use, though a little play with the settings may be needed to get an understanding of the system. And you need a stripe account.

Support

Best support ever. Hervé has been very patient and kind and helped me greatly when the Stripe plugin no longer spoke with the new updates.

Documentation

Documentation is very good. You do need a Stripe account, and you need a little "try out" time to get it all in place.

Value for money

Yes, very much value for money. The plugin, Hervé's support, the easy for the customers to use it. It is all worth it.

I used this to: I use it for my IMRF Bookshop: imrfbookshop(.)org. People can now pay by credit/debit card, Paypal (different plugin) and they can request an invoice and pay by bank transfer.

I particularly liked that test and live config is entered once, and a radio button to switch between modes

Straight forward to setup in the backend and easy for customers to use on the frontend.

Issues created by an upgrade to Virtuemart were dealt with in a timely manner by the developer.

Good documentation library that uses screen shots to clearly show configurations

Yes. There are different subscription options, depending on your requirements.
