I am not able to add more than one credit card. According to the documentation it should have a drowdown selection box which I do not have. I have to type it in manually and I tried Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, Diners Club with and without comma, but i only get Visa showing.

Thank you for using our plugin for VirtueMart.
We are actually working on some updates to our plugin, including this issue. But actually, it does not prevent to use Stripe, as it auto recognises card type. So the form field will disappear on the front end.
Some adjustments after the VM 3.0.x bug fixes are needed. Also, you might experience a "invalid card" error. We are aware of that, and we will release a fix soon.

Thank you. I left the field blank and indeed a drowdown menu appeared, but i am not able to test the payment feature. I get errors on the test cards:

Please read the trouble shooting page. I suspect that it would work with the option Stripe Charge Type set to Charge Direct.

Once you go through the documentation and try out the settings (and don't forget to test it with a "test item", it works like a dream.
Ease of use
Very easy to use, though a little play with the settings may be needed to get an understanding of the system. And you need a stripe account.
