So close!

I checked other tickets with this issue and tried checking the 'onepage checkout' option in virtuemart config/checkout, but no luck.

Am using One Page Checkout for Virtuemart (http://vmonepage.com)

Your product worked perfectly in test mode (using 'source' => "tok_visa") but when I switched to live and changed 'source' => $stripe_token_id, did not work as, it appears stripe_token_id comes back blank.

All input is correct but apparently am not getting a stripe_token_id. Can I create a token_id manually? Not sure how to fix. I thought was going live after so many successful test runs. Now stuck. Please let me know if I need to or can change any code anywhere or set something or config. I notice that in the onepage parameters that ajax is set for zipcode, not sure that matters. I hope this is a simple fix and/or workaround. Thanks for your help as am really looking forward to go-live now.

Please could you be more specific about the changes you mentioned, is it directly a hack in the code?

Hi Hervé,

I suppose you could say that..

I am a coder with years of experience (but not so much PHP;), however, I was able to pinpoint the line of code that caused the nasty error page. I then googled, as your support was closed, and found somewhere that source must = "tok_visa" so I replaced a line, thinking perhaps your set-up worked for live-only and not test, thus:

and it worked, and all my testing worked, and all test transactions were properly logged at stripe. I thought, "cool, now all I have to do is change back to use $stripe_token_id when the website is live...".

Now, I realize that $stripe_token_id should probably not have been null for test either and that it was blank for both test and live (and was probably not intended to be blank for test either). My apologies for the intrusion. However, this does prove that all data is getting to stripe, except token_id.

Would love to go-live this weekend if at all possible. Anything else I can try to get token_id set would be truly appreciated.

Functionality

Once you go through the documentation and try out the settings (and don't forget to test it with a "test item", it works like a dream.

Ease of use

Very easy to use, though a little play with the settings may be needed to get an understanding of the system. And you need a stripe account.

Support

Best support ever. Hervé has been very patient and kind and helped me greatly when the Stripe plugin no longer spoke with the new updates.

Documentation

Documentation is very good. You do need a Stripe account, and you need a little "try out" time to get it all in place.

Value for money

Yes, very much value for money. The plugin, Hervé's support, the easy for the customers to use it. It is all worth it.

I used this to: I use it for my IMRF Bookshop: imrfbookshop(.)org. People can now pay by credit/debit card, Paypal (different plugin) and they can request an invoice and pay by bank transfer.

Straight forward to setup in the backend and easy for customers to use on the frontend.

Issues created by an upgrade to Virtuemart were dealt with in a timely manner by the developer.

Good documentation library that uses screen shots to clearly show configurations

Value for money

Yes. There are different subscription options, depending on your requirements.

I used this to: Selling various items of merchandise for a sailing club through Virtuemart.
