Dear Sir, Madam,

For a long time I used Stripe for Virtuemart and it worked fantastically, until a few days ago.

Unfortunately a lot of other extensions, Virtuemart itself and the One Page Check Out are now all updated with new versions, but Stripe for Virtuemart 2.2.6 which is - I think - from before March 2019 - no longer works.

Do you know if there is a new version of Stripe for Virtuemart coming out soon?

Thank you for using our plugin for VirtueMart.
I'm sorry to hear about your issue. Let's fix that now.

Unfortunately a lot of other extensions, Virtuemart itself and the One Page Check Out are now all updated with new versions, but Stripe for Virtuemart 2.2.6 which is - I think - from before March 2019 - no longer works.

In order to understand the issue, and to help you as best as possible, please can you tell me both the versions that "worked before" (I mean before the updates mentioned above) and the versions now?
- Joomla
- VirtueMart
- One Page Checkout, which one: default VirtueMart or third-party extension?

I can only find, associated with your current username, a subscription started on 2019-03-06. Please could you tell me under which name you were subscribed before?

Yes, we work on a major release, and as usual, we would release minor version each time needed.

Good, the submit worked this time.

Here are the details.

Joomla
Before 3.9.10 Joomla - the Stripe Worked fine
Now 3.9.12 Joomla - the Stripe Worked fine

Virtuemart
Before 3.4.2 - the Stripe Worked fine
Now 3.6.2 - Stripe no longer worked

One Page Check out by CMSmart
Before 5.4.9 - the Stripe Worked fine (before I updated Virtuemart).
After 5.4.9.11 - None of the fields of One Page worked, and presume Stripe was dead in the water too.

I am really grateful for your trust in our services.

I don't know. All I can find is the logging details with my work e-mail address. Unless you can find an account that has my other e-mail address w_veeren@hotmail.com?

Hello Wendy,

Thank you for your reply. And sorry to hear about the computer freeze, that is very frustrating.

It is for sure the VirtueMart update, I couldn't work on it as planned. I had a very bad last week.

I can't really help with the One Page Checkout from CMSmart, as it is a third-party extension. However, I think that it may come back to normal once I have fixed the VM 3.6 update.

I will come back to you as soon as possible!

The only change is for the unfortunate break with VirtueMart 3.6.2.

Dear Hervé,

I can't thank you enough!! The fixed version works like a dream. And not a moment too soon, as some people find PayPal to scary to work with (it's true, especially people form Asia!). What a relief!!!!

I hope you will have a much better week than last week. I will send you some possitive energy in the hope that it will attract some positive situations and feelings to you (feel free to call me nuts, but like a placebo effect, it often works - or partly works at least) :)

Functionality

Once you go through the documentation and try out the settings (and don't forget to test it with a "test item", it works like a dream.

Ease of use

Very easy to use, though a little play with the settings may be needed to get an understanding of the system. And you need a stripe account.

Support

Best support ever. Hervé has been very patient and kind and helped me greatly when the Stripe plugin no longer spoke with the new updates.

Documentation

Documentation is very good. You do need a Stripe account, and you need a little "try out" time to get it all in place.

Value for money

Yes, very much value for money. The plugin, Hervé's support, the easy for the customers to use it. It is all worth it.

I used this to: I use it for my IMRF Bookshop: imrfbookshop(.)org. People can now pay by credit/debit card, Paypal (different plugin) and they can request an invoice and pay by bank transfer.

Straight forward to setup in the backend and easy for customers to use on the frontend.

Issues created by an upgrade to Virtuemart were dealt with in a timely manner by the developer.

Good documentation library that uses screen shots to clearly show configurations

Yes. There are different subscription options, depending on your requirements.

I used this to: Selling various items of merchandise for a sailing club through Virtuemart.
