Hey,

I'm missing the "name on card" field. Did I missed a toggle button? Or is there no option, yet. If so would you be so nice and add it fast or give me a "quick-but-dirty" piece of code to add it by hand to the source?

I have created a ticket instead of a contact form email, as it is much more efficient to follow the conversation.

Thank you for using our plugin for VirtueMart. I am glad that it is working like a charm.

No, you did not missed a toggle button, the option is not there. "Add it fast", or a "quick-but-dirty code", will be very unprofessional, as we are dealing with credit card details here. So we want them to be secure for your customers and your business, and to work perfectly because the checkout and payment parts are the vital to a merchant website, aren't they?

So to allow the plugin to still work like a charm, it will take some time to code, and to test it thoroughly. I understand and already saw what you want on large online stores, but there are implications with card and address verification in the back end. So I do not know it this feature request will be on top of my to-do list.

I haven't check them all, but I do not know a VM payment method using the feature you want. Do you know such a payment gateway implementation in VirtueMart?

No idk any gateway offering this feature for Virtuemart. But you may need it, bc. maybe it's your wife's credit card, or you purchase it in the name of your company, or .... !

Hi André,

You are welcome!

I know that in shopping cart like VirtueMart, the billing address is the one used for the credit card or any other payment type (that's the meaning of "billing"), and if you want to buy for someone else, then you can use a different shipping address. For a digital product or service, the strings can be modified to suite the context ("shipping" could become "recipient") in the Joomla > Extensions > Language Manager > Override

Then maybe you have to provide or change the information displayed on the checkout process (more in the layouts or template override).

If there is a use case for a situation, where the billing/shipping address is not good enough, then it is interesting to provide a solution for it. Do you have a few websites with this situation, to look at how it can be ported in VM?

Functionality

Once you go through the documentation and try out the settings (and don't forget to test it with a "test item", it works like a dream.

Ease of use

Very easy to use, though a little play with the settings may be needed to get an understanding of the system. And you need a stripe account.

Support

Best support ever. Hervé has been very patient and kind and helped me greatly when the Stripe plugin no longer spoke with the new updates.

Documentation

Documentation is very good. You do need a Stripe account, and you need a little "try out" time to get it all in place.

Value for money

Yes, very much value for money. The plugin, Hervé's support, the easy for the customers to use it. It is all worth it.

I used this to: I use it for my IMRF Bookshop: imrfbookshop(.)org. People can now pay by credit/debit card, Paypal (different plugin) and they can request an invoice and pay by bank transfer.

Good documentation library that uses screen shots to clearly show configurations

Yes. There are different subscription options, depending on your requirements.

I used this to: Selling various items of merchandise for a sailing club through Virtuemart.
